GREEN ZONE

Paul Greengrass directs Matt Damon in an action-thriller not called “Bourne.” Damon plays an Army officer in charge of a team assigned to seek and find weapons of mass destruction in the early days of the Iraq War. Trouble is, the unit keeps coming up empty, raising suspicions of a government conspiracy. Expect plenty of intense action and thrills.

SHE'S OUT OF MY LEAGUE

Kirk (Jay Baruchel from “Knocked Up” and “Tropic Thunder”) is not accustom to hot girls noticing him. So imagine his surprise when this average Joe suddenly finds himself on the arm of a beautiful, sexy woman like Molly (Alice Eve). Now he has to figure out a way to make the relationship work while also overcoming the nagging fear that he’s going to somehow blow it.

“Twilight” hunk Robert Pattinson tries to sink his fangs into something more meaty with his portrayal of a rebellious rich kid who falls for the beautiful daughter (Emilie de Ravin) of a surly New York City cop (Chris Cooper). Pierce Brosnan plays the bitter young man’s often absentee father in this unabashedly weepy tale.
