Chester, Ill. -

On April 22, Red Bud Regional Hospital’s Healthy Woman program will host a free dinner, from 6-7:00 p.m., in the Hospital auditorium.  Guest speaker, Lanetta Adams, Owner of Yoga Focus located in Red Bud, will provide an educational presentation called “Using Yoga to Fight Arthritis.”
If you have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis or gout, then you have probably experienced some of the disheartening symptoms that can make it nearly impossible to carry out common activities, like writing checks or weeding the garden.  Joint pain is a common symptom and can be a constant and daily reminder of arthritis.
If you or a loved one is suffering from arthritis or other pain, plan to attend this free event.  Adams will discuss the physical, mental and spiritual health benefits of yoga.  She will also provide information on how yoga poses can help alleviate aches and pains that are associated with arthritis and other daily living.
Preregistration is required for catering purpose.  Reserve your seat by calling Meghan Simpson at 282-5486 or on-line at www.redbudregional.com, Healthy Woman.  Healthy Woman is a free program designed to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed well-being decisions for themselves and their loved ones.
