St. John in Chester will host an Open House on Sunday, April 18, from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. in the Veterans Memorial Parish Hall. “Come See What We’re About”.
St. John offers:
• a food pantry
• Sunday School for ages 2-21 at 9 a.m. on Sunday
• adult Bible study at 9 a.m. on Sunday in the church; also at 6 a.m. on Wednesdays in the church office (at 1325 High Street) behind the church, plus various others
• Vacation Bible School, June 14-18, for ages pre-3 thru 6th grade, registration forms will be available soon
• Elementary School, preschool ages 3 & 4 and Kindergarten & grades 1-8
• extended care before and after school
• Summer Day Care, with activities
• Youth group, ages 13-18, activities including ultimate frisbee, laser tag, much more
• ladies quilting group
• men’s monthly pinochle club, and many more!!
• counseling by Pastor: grief counseling, marriage counseling, etc.
• choirs: Primary Choir, Junior Choir, Adult Choir, & Handbells
