Three Willisville residents were arrested Sept. 6 on burglary charges following an investigation by the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, Perry County Sheriff's Office, and Willisville Police Department.
Cleon R. Kempfer Sr., 72; Cleon R. Kempfer Jr., 36; and Tyler S. Minnemann, 20; all of Willisville, are being held in Randolph County jail pending a bond hearing, according to A Randolph County Sheriff's Office release.
The three agencies conducted an investigation of a theft from a farm shed on Wine Hill Road in Randolph County, where tools and other items had been taken. The investigation resulted in police executing a search warrant and the recovery of the alleged stolen tools and other items at a residence in Willisville in Perry County.
Randolph County Sheriff Shannon Wolff said it appears to be the only burglary these three individuals committed. He added information from the public assisted in the solving of the crime, as well as cooperation between the police agencies.
