Chester High School music students recently helped the First United Methodist Men with their annual UMM Ham and Bean Dinner, waiting tables, helping customers with their plates and drinks and clearing dirty dishes.

For their efforts the UMM has made a donation to each student's Florida Trip Account, helping the students pay for the Chester High School band's upcoming trip to perform at Walt Disney World in the summer of 2021.

The Methodist Men were thankful for the help of the music students and pledge to continue using their assistance with future dinners.

Meanwhile, the Chester United Methodist Men's organization also donated $300 to the Chester High School Music Department recently in appreciation for assistance that several students gave to the men during the last UMM Pancake Breakfast.

The donation will also help students with their trip to Walt Disney World in 2021.
