  • A little drizzle didn't stop the fun for twins Hallie and Hope Newell, as their parents, Julie and Sean, drove them in the Johnston City Middle School promotion parade Wednesday evening. With the social distancing measures in place, school officials decided to host the "drive through" celebration for the school's annual promotion ceremony.

  • Around 62 of the 75 members of the eighth grade class at Johnston City Middle School turned out for the promotion parade Wednesday evening. After a short parade near the school, students picked up their certificates at the school's main entrance on 12th Street.
