RANDOLPH COUNTY -

The Southwestern Illinois College Belleville Campus, 2500 Carlyle Ave., is hosting an Eggs-traordinary Egg Hunt Saturday, March 27. The festivities kick off at 9 a.m. with the 2-year-old or younger division’s hunt for 15,000 candy- and prize-filled eggs. The family-friendly event also offers a 3- to 5-year-old division and a 6- to 12-year-old division.
You will enjoy a host of egg-citing activities, and children can meet with the guest of honor, the Easter Bunny.
“We’re thrilled to host this event for residents of District 522,” said College Activities Director David Paeth. “This is a great opportunity for community members of all ages to get together and have some fun.”
Free parking is available. Enter the campus via the south Green Mount Road entrance or at the Carlyle Avenue entrance across from the YMCA. Both entrances have a stoplight.
The egg hunt will be held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors to the Main Complex Varsity Gym, Café and First Floor Lounge and hallways.
