"I, Lee (Rosalee) Love-Jacob of Chester, Illinois, want you to know that my work here is done. I finally found a permanent residence on April 9th and I will not be returning.
This new community will have plenty of bonuses -- such as a reunion with my husband, son, grandsons and many more family and friends I have not seen in many years.
I will have plenty of time for dancing, socializing and reminiscing about my many adventures. I have finally hit the jackpot!
So I will leave you with two quotes from Frank Sinatra ... 'I've lived a life that's full,' and 'I did it my way.'"
Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Alma Turner; her husband, William (Bill) Jacob; son, Steven Draves; grandsons Scott and Lance Draves; two sisters, Delores Renner and Dori Conroy and one brother, Charles Turner.
She is survived by a sister, Linda (Thayer) Hydo, of Marion; three children, Cindy Butler of Avondale, Arizona, Mike Draves of Chester and Candy (Ray) Gibbs of Marshall, Illinois; daughter-in-law, "Money" Draves, of Corydon, Indiana; 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and many nieces.
A celebration of Lee's life will be held at a later date.
