Tamara R. "Tammy" Holford, 61, of Du Quoin, passed away at 7:11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020 at her residence.

Tammy was an administrative assistant for the Perry County Sheriff's Department for 32 years. She was of the Methodist faith.

She was born Oct. 14, 1958 at Murphysboro, Illinois, the daughter of Richard and Sharon (Parrish) Maynor.

She married Bradford Holford on May 20, 1989 at the First United Methodist Church in Pinckneyville and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin; two daughters, Ali (Eli) Epplin and Bria Holford, all of Du Quoin; her parents, Richard and Sharon Maynor of Elkville; one grandson, Abe Epplin of Du Quoin; two brothers, Troy (Dana) Maynor of Nashville, Tennessee and Chad (Iku) Maynor of San Marcos, California; and five nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020 at the Wesley Methodist Church in Vergennes, Illinois, with the Rev. In-Sook-Hwang officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Thursday.

Burial will be in the Parrish Cemetery in Vergennes.
