Veronica T. Schoenberger, 85, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at Des Peres Hospital, Des Peres, MO.
She was born to the late Michael and Helen (nee Luzinski) Syloski on September 30, 1924 at St. Louis, MO .
Veronica was married Nickolas “Nick” Schoenberger on February 17, 1947 at Hecker, Illinois; he preceded her in death on November 27, 2001.
She was a retired factory worker at the Singer Company, Red Bud, and in her earlier years she had worked at Curtis Wright Aviation, St. Louis and International Shoe Factory, Evansville.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Evansville, St. Boniface Quilters, American Legion Auxiliary, Evansville and Evansville Senior Citizens.

2 Grandchildren    Nicole Renee (Jonathon) Koester    of Evansville, IL, Michael Schoenberger of Evansville, IL

Preceded in death by:     Parents, Husband – Nickolas “Nick” Schoenberger,
2 Brothers – Stanley and Michael and 9 Sisters – Cecilia, Sophia, Mary, Helen, Frances, Agnes, Josephine, Genevieve and Veronica.
Funeral Mass:        10:00 am, Friday, August 20, 2010 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois
Officiating: Father Ben Stern
Interment: St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Evansville, Illinois
Visitation: Thursday – 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Friday – 8:00 am – 9:45 am at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home in  Evansville, Illinois
Prayer Service:        6:00 pm, Thursday
