STEELVILLE -- Jordan Wilson scored a game-high 15 points, and the Steeleville freshmen improved to 2-0 with a 32-20 win over Marissa-Coulterville on Monday.

Jacob Sutton added seven points for the Warriors, while Austin Hagel (4), Drew Gerlach (3), Luke Bartens (1) and Bastien Kraus (2) also scored.

Steeleville held a 6-1 lead after the first quarter of play and took a 17-11 advantage into the locker room at halftime.

The Warriors led 26-18 after three quarters, but didn"t break double digits until a 3-pointer by Sutton with 4:06 remaining gave Steeleville a 31-20 lead.

Up next for the Steeleville Frosh is a Saturday home game with Chester, which fell to Perryville, 66-43, on Monday to drop to 3-1 on the season. Tipoff is scheduled for 10 a.m.
