The Eldorado volleyball team was able to send its two seniors, Madison Newton and Olivia Parker out with a win as the Eagles knocked off Sesser-Valier in straight sets, 25-10 and 25-22 Tuesday night.
Newton and Parker each led the Eagles at the net as Newton was 14-14 on spikes and finished with six kills and one block kill. Parker was 9-11 on kills and Parker had two blocks with a kill to end the second game.
Paige Munds had a good night setting, going 23-23 and finished with 15 digs and went 6-7 on serves with six points.
Jade Hise had a very good night with 13-17 serves and had 17 points with nine aces, including scoring 10 straight points in the first game. She also had two kills and 11 digs. Briley Lenkaitis was 16-16 on sets and 11-11 on serves with 11 points, scoring six straight points in the game game to bring the team back from a seven point deficit. Lenkaitis also had 17 digs. Lexie Mitchell had 13 digs and was 6-6 serving and Kynzie Sizemore was 8-9 on spikes with three kills.
Eldorado will play Robinson at the Fairfield Regional on Monday, starting at 6 p.m.
