Last week's battle between the two powerhouses of the Southern Illinois River-To-River Conference's Mississippi division turned into a relatively easy win for Nashville as they defeated Sparta by a score of 47-20. Sparta fell behind by a score of 14-7 after one quarter and was held to only four or five points in each of the next three quarters by a stingy Nashville defense.
Jessica Robinson put in 12 points for Sparta while Rachel Peck had six and Taylor Martin added two.
