    WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange requested asylum in Ecuador today. Assange is currently in London fighting extradition to Sweden, where he faces sexual assault charges. Assange is almost out of options to fight extradition, which is why he chose to seek asylum in Ecuador.

    "Former President Hosni Mubarak has clinically died following his arrival at Maadi military hospital on Tuesday evening. Mubarak's heart stopped beating and was subjected to a defibrillator several times but did not respond." - Statement for MENA, a state-run news agency in Egypt. However, there are confliting reports on if the 84-year-old Mubarak is clinically dead or not. Mubarak was ousted in the Arab Spring.
