Kay Frances Robertson, 70, of Perryville, Missouri, passed away at 6:39 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Missouri.
She was born to the late Earl and Wilberta (nee Rebbe) LaBruyere on March 16, 1950 in Elderado Springs, Missouri.
Kay married Jim Robertson on Sept. 13, 1975 in Perryville, Missouri; he survives.
She was a cosmetologist at Jo Ann's Beauty Shop for 30 years.
Kay was of the Christian faith. She was a 4-H leader for 10 years and was a board member of New Life Missions in Missouri. Kay loved to craft and spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Robertson of Perryville; two daughters, Emily Robertson (Kurt Franklin) of Perryville and Kelly (James) Schroeder of Jacob, Illinois; one stepson, James Robertson of Ludington, Michigan; two siblings, Wilbert "Bud" (Donna) LaBruyere of Hermann, Missouri and Bonnie (Jim) Foster of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Bryan Robertson, Tylor Szabelski and Arawn Schroeder and four nephews, Chet and Kurt LaBruyere and Brian and Brad Nelson.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Janet Robertson.
The memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020 at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester, Illinois.
Inurnment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester.
Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, Shriner's Hospital for Children or the American Heart Association.
