Ms. Jenny L. Harris of O'Fallon, Missouri, departed this life at the St. Peters Manor in St. Peters, Missouri on Nov. 13, 2021. She had attained the age of 98 years.

Ms. Harris was born on April 23, 1923 near Beaucoup in Perry County, Illinois, the daughter of Leland and Frances (Dreszka) Nehrkorn. She was married to Sylvester Pete Waligorski on June 26, 1948. She would marry Hosea Harris in 1972.

Jenny was a homemaker and an employee of the Martha Manning Clothing Factory for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was an avid seamstress her entire adult life.

Left to mourn her passing are her two children, Diane (Waligorski) Kravec and her husband James Hellard of O'Fallon, Missouri and Barbara Waligorski also of O'Fallon, Missouri; grandchildren, Callie (Kravec) Franssen and husband Christopher of Las Vegas, Nevada and James Kravec and wife Rebecca of Collinsville, Illinois. Jenny also had three great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charles, who was killed in World War II, and her brother James, who died in 1967.

A mass of Christian Burial for Ms Jenny L. Harris will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa, Illinois with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the church.

Please use social distancing guidelines. Everyone in attendance is required to wear a mask.

Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Tamaroa.

Friends may make memorials to Masses, to the Alzheimer's Association, or to the Heartland Humane Society of O'Fallon, Missouri. They will be accepted at the funeral home.
