Chester High School hosted the 2022 Rocky Bridges Invitational track and field meet Tuesday, April 19, at the Dr. Charles R. Young Memorial Track and Field Complex.

The YellowJacket boys won their division with a total of 152 points. The Lady Jackets finished third with 97 points.

In the process the YellowJacket boys had three athletes bring home first-place finishes: Jacob Cowell in the pole vault and 300-meter hurdles, Isaac Jany in the shot put, and Will Schuwerk in the 200. The Lady Jackets won the 4x200 relay and the 800 sprint medley.

Chester was followed in the boys division by Pinckneyville (2nd, 112), Red Bud (3rd, 107), Sparta (4th, 92.50), Okawville (5th, 57.50), and Waterloo Gibault (6th, 19).

Pinckneyville won the girls division with 126 points, followed by Okawville (2nd, 110), Chester (3rd, 97), Nashville (4th, 96), Sparta (5th, 72), Red Bud (6th, 62), and Waterloo Gibault (7th, 8).
